Canvas Kids brings together students, educators, designers, artists, beauty professionals, media creatives, mentors, and community partners to create hands-on learning experiences for young people.

Whether you are looking for an internship, interested in teaching a skill, willing to help produce a fashion show, or able to contribute professional services, there may be a place for you within the Canvas Kids community.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Gain meaningful, hands-on experience while helping us document, promote, organize, and expand the Canvas Kids program.

Internship areas may include:

• Photography
• Videography
• Video editing
• Social media management
• Graphic design
• Content creation
• Fashion design
• Sewing and garment construction
• Event production
• Runway and backstage support
• Hair and makeup assistance
• Marketing and communications
• Administrative and program support

CREATIVE TALENT & SKILLS OPPORTUNITIES

We are building a network of talented people who want to use their skills to support the next generation.

We welcome:

• Seamstresses and tailors
• Fashion designers
• Sewing instructors
• Pattern makers
• Wardrobe stylists
• Models and runway coaches
• Hair stylists and barbers
• Makeup artists
• Photographers and videographers
• Creative directors
• Event and backstage professionals
• Garment and fabric sponsors
• Teaching artists
• Other skilled professionals and community volunteers

You may participate by teaching a workshop, mentoring students, making or donating garments, sponsoring materials, assisting with a fashion show, providing professional services, or volunteering your time.

Submitting an application does not guarantee placement or employment. Opportunities may be volunteer, internship, in-kind, stipend-based, or paid contract positions depending on the program, funding, event, and scope of work.

Individuals working directly with students may be required to complete an interview, orientation, reference check, background screening, or additional youth-safety requirements.
